You earn reward points for using VitalChart - from updating your health record to joining health communities, you recieve points for taking healthy actions (see the activity table below).

You spend your reward points on the items you want - you can even select your reward goal (the item you want), and VitalChart will automatically send it to you when you earn enough points.

There are no limits on the points or rewards you can receive - we're even working with employers, health plans, and other health partners to bring you even greater health rewards.

Here's how you earn reward points:

Points	Activity
77	Create your account Get 77 points just for creating your VitalChart account.
20	Add a family member Get 20 points for each of the first 3 family members you add in the health records section.
10	Join a health community Get 10 points for each of the first 3 communities you join.
8	Reply to a discussion Get 8 points for each of your first 3 discussion replies. You even receive points if you mark your replies as anonymous.
5	Tell a friend Get 5 points for each of the first 5 friends you tell about VitalChart using the 'Tell a Friend' below.
5	Rate your medications Get 5 points for each of the first 5 drug ratings you add.
4	Post to your journal Get 4 points for each of your first 10 postings to your health journal.
3	Enter your records Get 3 points for each first 5 sections of your health record that you enter/update.
2	Login to VitalChart Get 2 points for each of the first 5 times you sign in to VitalChart each month.
